After School
Extended Day Program
Our optional Extended Day Program provides care and activities for students daily until 5:30 p.m. Continuity of care matters so much at this age, so this program is run by our own teachers. During these after-school hours, students eat a snack, spend time playing outdoors, and do a range of other activities with friends in their class. In grades 4, 5, and 6, some time is provided each day to complete homework with their teacher's support and guidance.
After-School Activities
A variety of after-school enrichment classes are available during the fall, winter, and spring. Programs begin immediately after dismissal and typically run for an hour. Students can be picked up after their activity or be brought to their Extended Day classroom. Many classes are taught by Cold Spring faculty and offerings have included Robotics, Soccer, Chess, Steel Drums, Animation, and Fencing.
