Cold Spring School: Ushebti Dolls

Ushebti were the figurines found in the tombs of wealthy Egyptians. Ushebti were servant icons that accompanied the deceased to the after-life and provided help with housekeeping tasks. First and second grade students made their own as part of a thematic study on Egyptian mythology.
