Cold Spring School: Papier-Maché Dogs

The Papier Mache Dog sculpture grew out of first and second grade student interest in Seaman, the dog that accompanied Lewis and Clark on their expedition. Students explored form and structure using papier mache, paint and whimsical embellishment to create their own “Seaman.”
