| Diesel is a threat to us because it increases the risk of asthma in babies, pollutes the air, and more. | Some of the 4-5 five class of our school went with some specialists to use machines to determine how much was in the air. | There are two kinds of particles. One is about 1/60 of your hand, and the other is even smaller. Every time a truck or a bus goes by, the number increased. |
| They say they came out with a kind of bus that doesn't pollute as much. We compared the results and they are correct. It has a little less pollution.The machines we used to determine the amount of diesel rounded to the nearest hundred for the small particles, and the other machine told the exact amount of the bigger ones.The bigger the truck, the more pollution it makes. Some other cars made a difference, too. |  |
