Cold Spring School’s River Studies Podcasts was among 21 programs recognized recently by the by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Cold Spring’s  project is included in NAIS’s new publication: Stories of Excellence: Case Studies of Exemplary Teaching and Learning with Technology.

The project stems from a long interest held by Cold Spring students in the ecology and history of the Mill and Quinnipiac Rivers. For this study, students in the 4/5 class created an audio walking tour that can be downloaded onto an iPod or MP3 player.
