Salinity

Salinity is the measurement of salt in the water. It can tell how much water from the sound has drifted into the river because of tides. This area is often referred to as brackish water area. Several creatures need the mix of salt and fresh water to survive. This year we are trying to figure out exactly how far the salt water goes up the rivers.
