
Common House Fly
The common house fly can be a nuisance as well as being a carrier of desease to man and animal. In sust two weeks, one fly can lay more then 1,000 eggs in garbage, kitchen refuse, piled lawn clippings, decomposing plant and animal matter. In warm weather the life cycle of a fly (egg to adult) usually takes about eight days. The common house fly isn't the only kind of fly found in the home.
Little House Fly
The little house fly characteristically flies to and fro in the middle of the room. Seldom landing on human food, these are much less likly to contaminate human food than the common house fly. Maggots are laid in well decayed vegetable matter. Their life cycle requires 24 days.
