 This is a drawbridge.

How does your bridge work?

The road goes upwards so that the boat can go through.

What part holds the bridge up?

The orange and green squares hold the bridge up.

What part of the bridge is the strongest ?

The orange and green squares are the strongest part of my bridge.

What part of the bridge is the weakest?

The road is the weakest part of my bridge.(the long line on the top is the road.)

How many cars do you think your bridge can hold at a time?

One huge truck and then six cars at the same time.

This is liftspan bridge.

How does your bridge work?

The whole bridge lifts up into the air so that the boat can go through.

What part holds the whole bridge up?

The bottom part holds the bridge up.

How do the cars get across the bridge?

The cars go across the straight line at the top.

What is the weakest part of your bridge?

The road is the weakest part of the bridge.

What is the strongest part of your bridge?

The bottom yellow, red and purple part of my bridge, is the strongest part.

How many cars and trucks can your bridge hold at a time?

My bridge can hold two big trucks and ten cars at a time.

This is the North American bridge.

How does it work?

The bridge person pushes a button for the bridge to open and for the boats to get through.

Why did you make it this way?

I thought about the Q Bridge because it is right outside our classroom and then I basically tried to make it look a little like it.

What's the strongest point of your bridge?

The strongest point is the bridge/road part.

What's the weakest point?

The roof is the weakest point of the North American Bridge.

How many pounds can your bridge hold?

I think it can hold abouit two big trucks or about 2 tons (4,000 pounds.)

This is a tank bridge:

Basic information: There is a man at the top of the bridge. The bridge has a tunnel going through it. When a boat needs to get to the other side, the man on the top of the bridge stops all the cars and then the bridge turns sideways. When the bridge is all the way turned, the boat can go on through. This picture has the tunnel in the middle so that cars can go across.

How does it work? Cars can go through it because of the tunnel and then it opens into parts to let the boat go by. I really like the idea of having a tunnel in my bridge.
